Self Reliant Diver
Self Reliant Diver
Although diving with a buddy is the norm, there are reasons for experienced divers to also develop the ability to dive without a buddy.
With sound training, the necessary equipment, and the right attitude towards the additional risks, an experienced diver can responsibly make dives without a buddy. "Self-reliant" diving, thus diving without a buddy, is an activity that is not for everyone, but this type of diving also deserves its place. If you have the mental discipline and are willing to learn the techniques necessary for diving without a buddy, you can develop the skills and confidence necessary - whether diving in a team or a group, but on your own. This course is a very valuable additional training for divemasters and instructors.
